Role of Musad Engineering & Consultancy
Musad Engineering & Consultancy conducted comprehensive drone-based surveys along the 221 km Dhaka–Sylhet National Highway (N-2) under an ADB-funded project for the Roads and Highways Department (RHD) to support road safety enhancement and infrastructure monitoring. The assignment utilized advanced aerial technology for resettlement assessment, construction progress monitoring, earthwork volume calculation, environmental and biodiversity evaluation, utility shifting assessment, and bridge inspections. Drone-based supervision improved data accuracy, efficiency, and field safety while enabling high-resolution visual documentation for decision-making. The project also included stakeholder workshops and training programs to strengthen institutional capacity in drone applications for road infrastructure projects. Through this engagement, Musad contributed to more effective monitoring and technology-driven project management practices.
