Scope of Services Provided

Role of Musad Engineering & Consultancy
Under the ADB-funded TA-6772 BAN initiative, Musad Engineering & Consultancy contributed to strengthening road safety and crash data management along the 221 km Dhaka–Sylhet National Highway (N-2) for the Roads and Highways Department (RHD). The project focused on enhancing institutional capacity, improving crash data systems, and aligning road safety practices with international standards. Key activities included training RHD officials on MAAP5 and iMAAP systems, reviewing policies and regulatory frameworks, assessing stakeholder roles, and coordinating with Bangladesh Police, BRTA, and ARI. The assignment also involved organizing workshops on global best practices in crash data management. Through this engagement, the project strengthened data-driven decision-making and institutional collaboration to support a safer and more resilient highway corridor.
