Mushab Bin Khondker, Managing Director of “Musad Engineering & Consultancy, Dhaka, Bangladesh”, and Professor Satish Chandra, Director of “Central Road Research Institute, New Delhi, India”, signed an MoU on March 6, 2019, at CRRI headquarters, New Delhi.
By dint of this MoU, Musad Engineering will represent CRRI in Bangladesh to explore, arrange and facilitate consultancy, training and development services in the field of transportation engineering and road safety. The Central Road Research Institute is a wing of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), India, a premier national R&D organisation and one of the world’s largest publicly funded R&D organisations. CRRI was founded in 1952 and played a key role in developing the codes, standards and policy of India’s road transportation network.
CRRI got strong research facilities with highly skilled resources, which helped them to introduce a good number of new technologies in the transportation engineering arena.
For Bangladesh, this MoU will open a window of new technologies, technical codes, design parameters, and developing resources by training and sharing knowledge in the transportation sector.
